As a part of our development strategy, we are currently looking for highly motivated software developers (juniors & seniors).
Koelo is a young, dynamic and innovative software house specialized in developing electronic trading platforms for the financial markets using the latest technologies and standards.
The position offers many opportunities in terms of career evolution, learning & implementing new technologies for the financial markets. The person(s) will be directly involved in the product design & development.
Working with Koelo will enable the applicant to develop new skills in the following fields:
* Web technologies & open sources programming,
* Real-time software programming,
* Financial markets & trading protocols.

Profil
Essential skills:
* J2EE development experience,
* Apache Tomcat, Servlets, JSPs, JDBC, Web Services, HTML, HTTP,
* OOP and SOAP
Desirable:
* AJAX, Javascript, DOM, Open source programming,
* Database development, Web applications development,
* Financial trading application experience & FIX protocol.
Core Responsibilities
* Develop familiarity with the existing application and code base quickly and efficiently
* Actively participate in technical design workshop
* Assume full development responsibility for developing, debugging and unit testing for assigned aspects of the project in accordance with internal procedures and standards
* Solve technical problems efficiently as they arise and demonstrate complete follow-through and closure on problems
* Recognise opportunities for re-using code and components
* Assist in the general improvement of practices, design principles and process within the team
* Be prepared to assume roles on client delivery projects, technical support activities as well as the core development activities as the need / opportunity arises.
